Light as a Material

Harvested natural light becomes
a fourth, wellness enriching material.

Light as a Material

Alongside metal, wood and leather, we are introducing light as our precious fourth material. The car’s large glass roof harvests natural light using prisms and projects into the cabin via fibre optics. A mixture of this harvested and sentient light will relieve drowsiness, ease motion sickness, boost serotonin, uplift, and nourish passengers. Light will consistently ripple through the revolutionary concept car, leading the eye to the shimmering main console.

Features can change the ambience through user-controlled light and shade settings. The Bentley EXP 100 GT puts the occupant in control of disconnecting and reflecting, aiding mindfulness. Technology is seamlessly integrated with luxury materials; rear lighting blends traditional rear lamps with a dynamic central ‘horseshoe.’

Appearing as a simple painted panel, this section has the ability to project dynamic light effects from within.
